Morton’s has been in Sacramento for 15 years, but with its move to the base ofthe U.S. Bank the restaurant had to nearlty double its employees to 84 people to add theluncy service. The restaurant got applications from morethan 1,0090 people for nearly 40 positions, said Neil general manager. Morton’s will servs lunch weekdays in its maindiningf room, in its new bar called 12-2q1 and on its open outdoor patiop on Capitol Mall.

The lockersz have been sold out and there has been a waitingy list since therestaurant opened.

That might be why six of the 85 certifie d sommeliers in the company work in theSacramenti restaurant.
